Authorized Providers of Telecom-related Services (PTRS) are certified to access telephone number portability data for routing, rating, billing and network maintenance in connection with providing or facilitating the provision of telecommunications services. As part of the certification, 46 Labs has been recognized with the NPAC Digital Badge — a designation that highlights verified compliance and excellence in managing number portability data. The badge is now displayed on the 46 Labs website, signaling its status as an authorized provider and recipient of NPAC data.

“This certification is more than a technical milestone — it’s a statement of our dedication to transparency, interoperability, and data integrity across the telecom ecosystem,” said Ali Mumtaz, CTO of 46 Labs. “We look forward to leveraging this recognition to further empower our partners and customers.”
Trevor Francis, founder and CEO of 46 Labs, credited Mumtaz for leading the certification effort: “Earning this certification validates the architecture we’ve built over the past decade under Ali’s leadership. We couldn’t have achieved this milestone without him.”

For customers and partners, the NPAC certification and badge provide assurance that 46 Labs adheres to the highest standards in number portability and data stewardship. Use of the badge is governed by NPAC user agreements and limited to approved applications, ensuring it remains a trusted indicator of compliance and quality.
